Program Overview
Our goal is to provide effective, innovative, creative, unique, outreach and services to create a movement towards self-sufficiency through a unique delivery system/approach that address the multiplicity of barriers that plague and impede the growth and success of our youth. Best Resource Center is an experienced educational and employment community based agency that has contracts with entities to provide services to in-school and drop-out youth and adults. These services include remediation and enrichment for below grade level and advanced youth and adults. Best Resource Center provides a wide range of services for disadvantaged inner-city youth and adults throughout the Orange County region.
Academic Skills
Provide Adult Basic Education, GED, College Prep, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Basic Literacy Skills, Math Skills Development, Writing Skills Development, Virtual and In-Person.
Workforce Skills Development
Provide Interview Skills, Resume Writing, Soft Skills Development, Basic Computer Skills, Positive Work Habits, Positive Attitude Development, Habits Expectations and Customer Service Skills.
Professional Skills Development
Provide HHA/PCA Training, National Healthcare Association Certification (NHA), 8-Hour Security Guard Training, National Work Readiness, Customer Service Skills, Construction Skills Training.
Life Skills Development
Provide Communication Skills, Goal Setting, Ethics and Values, Team Work, Interpersonal Skills, Conflict Resolution, Decision Making Skills and Anger Management.
